The Bonny banks of Loch Lomond was the spectacular setting for our first Company Team Building Actvities - It's a knockout of the year. A group of around 100 from Loch Lomond Golf Club battled it out in a wild wet and wacky afternoon in the confines of the beautiful walled garden area of the resort. The prize for the day was the magnificent Team Challenge Company winners trophy. The fun kicked off in superb style with a mass warm up, the Lambrini girls dusting away some cobwebs from the night before!! With everyone raring to go the first few teams got stuck into the caterpillar race with the green team tearing off at pace toward the finish line, the pinks languishing behind badly! The blues were amazing in the sack and took the gold rush race by the scruff of the neck! The lime greens avoided disaster by picking themselves off the deck to collect some points on their travels.

The infamous Wacky Wall awaited the four teams next. Sponges flying everywhere, including hitting the spectators on a few occasions each team gave it their all to collect as much water as they could. Some exceptional bucketing by the green team was matched by the pinks never say die attitude. Obstacle Skis proved be a massive turning point for a few of the teams with the pinks barely getting going, the blues romped home in an impressive time. The lime greens found the obstacle skis a cruel mistress as well with determination the only thing getting them through this challenge. The 100 foot assault course was the finale as Everyone pitted their wits against the steep slopes, tunnels and tyre run in a grueling spectacle of blood sweat and tears. A fantastic effort from everyone in this first of the rotations with many team staking an early claim to getting their hands on the coveted winners trophy. The final four teams of the day knew what they had to do on their final activities - post a good score and they'd have one foot on the winners podium.

The oranges employed some dirty tactics on the hula hoop race in order to get a head! Needless to say they were soaked by the Team Challenge company super soakers and rightly so! Caterpillar run sorted out the men from the boys as the red team laid down an early marker with some foot shuffling shenanigans. The dash for gold got the pulses racing with the yellow team feeling the rhythm and gaining a healthy return! A sign of favourites for the trophy perhaps? The shapes were left dispondant by an abysmal performance on the Obstacle Skis! Billy orchestrated a resurgence in the red team by stating he'd go mental if they lost from such a strong position. The wacky wall proved to be organised chaos once more as the water splashed everywhere with each team eager to get their hands on the prize, the orange team with some of the most lethal use of sponges we have ever encountered! Each team were hoping for glory as they moved on to the inflatable section of the afternoon!

Across on the Inflatable Zone we started out with head to head on the Sumo Wrestling and the Gladiator Duel. In the first rotation we had orange and shapes and blue and red teams. They all looked a little sheepish as they were divided into their first It's a Knockout challenge. First up on the sumo wrestling we had the red team and the blue team. It was a nail bitting experience as they ended up in a sudden death round with the blue team taking away the winning score. The Gladiator Dual saw some tough components with the orange and shapes as they battled it out to win the most hits, orange did well with a total of 7 knock offs. The teams swapped activities and battled it out with some controversial tactics. It was the. Onto the Bungee Run and Human Table Football where the stars and blue and orange and red went head to head.

There was some unhappy campers with the referees scoring with the blue team just to confirm there was plenty of side touching. The shapes ultimately won the challenge. It was time to welcome the next group into the It's A Knockout Inflatable Zone we had yellow and green starting on sumo wrestling and then lime green and pink. It got a little fierce it the ring with yellow and greens and the competitiveness was pouring out. On the gladiator duel it came to a stand off to win the highest points. The limes scored really well on bungee run with almost all teams scoring high. It was a draw between yellow and green on the human table football. It was time for the teams to all gather together in a last attempt to gain some extra points, once the final challegnes were complete it was time for the scores. They had been checked and verified and in last place taking home the wooden spoon was.... The Pink Team, the winning team taking home the Team Challenge Company Trophy was The Yellow Team, leaving the rest of the teams only taking home memories. Thank you to Ian and the team for organising this fantastic afternoon for the staff at Loch Lomond Golf Club, you were all fantastic sports and we look forward to working with you again.
