The stunning Kincardine Castle was the picturesque setting for the 2014 corporate fun day for the team from Expro Group as they joined us for an exciting afternoon of fun activities, competitions and of course the famous Expro Raffle! With the warm weather providing an even warmer welcome for our guests, as the clock struck twelve it was all systems go. Clumsy the Clown awaited our most eager guests and even managed to take a few for the first pony rides of the day before the crowds descended! With the castle itself and the top lawn bursting with wonderful kids activities including Bouncy Castles and Face Painting it was difficult to choose what to run to first while the bottom lawn played host to our ever popular Target Zone with Archery and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting topping the bill. It wasn’t long before our puppet master announced the beginning of his first show which saw us enjoy an exciting search for the Loch Ness Monster!

Before our first raffle draw Keith introduced our special guests from the Hilton football club and their coach Stephen who thanked all at Expro Group for their continued support of the team and inviting the boys along. Before the boys returned to the pitch to get some games underway it was time to play a special song to all of the dads to thank them for coming along and sharing the fun. After our raffle draw giving out some incredible prizes to the lucky winners, it was time for the first of our competitions over on the Bucking Bronco. With lots of competition and some amazing times it looked to be close for a while, but that was until Rashid stepped up and showed us all how it should be done! With an almost record breaking score of 36 seconds the crowd went wild as he was crowned the deserving competition winner and came up to claim his trophy!

As the afternoon drew on with many more raffle prizes it was time for the grand finale of the children’s and adults’ races before we all departed. There were some fantastic sprinters in the flat race straight towards the commonwealth games we thought! The classic egg and spoon was full of hilarity too as everyone waited for the smash that didn’t come. The gents were great sports in the Father’s Day Sack Race with the ladies stepping up for the Space Hopper Dash to the finish line. The races as with the rest of the afternoon were filled were filled with laughs. It was our pleasure to work with Carol and her team to create the day for the guests and we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did and see you all next year!

So many fabulous prizes haha! It was a fantastic day over at Kincardine Castle and I am so pleased to have been a part of it. It was great to see so many people get involved with the exciting activities we had on offer and enjoying the wonderful raffles on offer throughout the day. Carol always makes such an effort to make the day a memorable one and you definitely made it happen this year Carol!
