The beautiful Fairmont St. Andrews hotel played host to our latest Team Building Scotland event, which included a session of Country Pursuits during the day and a Fun Casino Night in the evening. Two teams from Deloitte battled it out over Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery to take home the illustrious Team Challenge Company winners trophy on what was a glorious afternoon in the north east of Fife. Team Tiger Force and Team Winners ensured it was a hotly contested day of fun! The tigers got their teeth stuck into the Archery with some sublime shooting from team captain Neil as they roared into an early points lead. Craig, the Winners captain, did his best to lift his teams spirits and they all responded in unison, shooting some beautifully consistent arrows! It was neck and neck going into the last round. The Tigers smelled blood and went for the jugular but were a bit over zealous in their approach, aiming wildly and only coming away with an average score. The Winners were ever trying to live up to their billing and did so on more than one occasion, finding the inner two rings of the scoreboard regularly.

The points were close, extremely close! The winners grabbed the glory this time. Laser clays were calling and as usual sorted the men from the boys. The tigers struggled to make an inmost on the early round of the shooting with Deirdra shooting everything that moved apart from the clay! Chris hauled his team back in the running with some impressive totals as well. The tigers grip was loosening ever so slightly and this allowed a window of opportunity for the winners to storm out in from. The fast and frenetic final speed shot round was the nail in the tigers coffin! Gun 2 proving to be the lucky mat as the points were racked up continually!!! In the end the winners did what they set out to do and grabbed the glory. The trophy was there's on a total of 3800 points! A fantastic result for the team. Just 200 points behind were the tigers who let out more of a groan than a roar in the wooden spoon presentation. A glorious day of competitive fun at a special location! Well done to the winners! Thank you to Brooke who ensures the day ran so smoothly.

After our competitive afternoon of Country Pursuits we met with the full group from Deloitte inside the beautiful Fairmont St. Andrews for a surprise Fun Casino Night. The guests were dressed to impress and everyone looked amazing as the partition was pulled back to reveal a host of tables and croupiers. Blackjack, Roulette and Poker were the games on offer throughout the James Bond themed evening. Each guest was presented with £50 of fun money to bet with throughout the evening. The poker was run in two tense qualifying rounds with Abby and Leigh proving their poker faces were unbeatable putting them as well as some others into the final. The Roulette table was ever popular and we seen some big bets and even bigger returns for the likes of David who got £360 back after one spin. Whilst some were doing well there was other doing not so well, Neil and Craig both spent the best part of the night trying to pay back the money they had "borrowed" from the banker! Yan was slow at starting but once she got on the Blackjack table there was almost no stopping her. She came away with a very impressive £300!

The poker tournament was still in full swing as we moved into the last 45 minutes of the event. With a final round consisting of 5 of the best players of the night all battling it out to claim the top prize. As the time ticked on it was down to two players at the poker and after both going all in Will came out victorious. However, in the last 5 minutes of betting he played all his winnings on the roulette table and lost it!! As it approached midnight it was time to cash in and total up the final winnings! With a big lose after her poker win Adelle took away the wooden spoon after cashing in a measly £60. Yan was very close to taking away the title with her £300 cash in but.... The Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy went to Fraser who cashed in with a brilliant £310!! A huge thank you must go out to Brooke and Steven for putting all their hard work in to organising such a successful day and evening.

What a fantastic night! It was so much fun to be a part of the big reveal for the Fun Casino Night after dinner and I'm sure all of Brooke's conspiring was worth it for the effect on the night! It was great to see so many people get involved with the tables, especially the big bets on the roulette table! Looking forward to meeting you all again in the future.

What an amazing day of fun competition. Beautiful weather for the laser Clays and archery and some great banter at night. Some high rollers that would rival James bonds betting styles, not the looks however! Haha thank you for making this such an entertaining day. Well done to the winners
