The Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort was the setting for an afternoon of Country Pursuits activities with a group of 40 from Scottish Sea Farms. All 6 teams were competing head to head on Archery, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Inflatable Chip Shot Golf. Thankfully the weather held off for most of the afternoon, where team Obi-Wan Kenobi got off to a flying start with some accurate shooting on the Laser Clays.
The Freezer Crew kept their cool on the Archery, hitting some big numbers and laying down the gauntlet for the rest of the day. The A-Team were also great competitors on the Archery with some Robin Hood style arrows! Team Wind Direction chipped in with an impressive score on the Inflatable Chip Shot Golf, while the Baltic warriors asked if their golfing handicap could be added to their final score...not a chance! Team Six Factor were last to visit the Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and didn’t disappoint.
All six teams competed whole heartedly, with a great deal of enthusiasm and with some great laughs along the way. As the Highland weather began to deteriorate towards the end of the day, we retreated to the Osprey Arena where we would find out who would be taking home the Team Challenge Company Trophy. First however, there always has to be a loser! Taking home the wooden spoon and in last place were the Baltic Warriors. It was close in the middle with the A team and Freezer Crew sharing second place, Wind Direction in 4th and Six factor in 5th. Obi-Wan Kenobi Nil proved to be the victors with 2850 points and were delighted to be top dogs! Thank you to Susan from the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort for organising this event on behalf of Jim and the team at Scottish Sea Farms.

Big thanks to the hardy band of men and women who braved the highland weather to make this such a fun, competitive afternoon! A really good time, with a great group of people. Hope to see you all again for a rematch!
