The stunning 5* Fonab Castle played host to Alufer Mining’s GPS Interactive Treasure Hunt, a brilliant location set in Pitlochry for an afternoon of fun, engaging and interactive outdoor challenges. Ahead of the event, our team headed up to the hotel to check out the grounds and the surrounding area to plan the checkpoints for guests.

Our small group of 8 guests entered the room with some slight anticipation on what was in store with them. With an initial brief on the task ahead the energy picked up and teams were eager to get out and exploring while carrying out their photo, video, location and non-location specific challenges! The trainers were on and guests headed out to find as many checkpoints as possible located around Fonab Castle – completing a mix of challenging, interactive, and amusing tasks set out just for them. We even included some bespoke questions on “Guess Who” – facts about each other and they had to guess which related to their colleagues.

The teams really got stuck into the competitive spirit and it was obvious they were fighting for the Winners’ Trophy! The Peppa Pig remakes and Fresh Prince of Bel Air raps were flooding in – with teams getting bonus efforts for added actions and moves! Teams began to come back into the room as time was running out, but they were still attempting to finish some “on demand” questions to gain some extra last-minute points.

Throughout the session our team had been busy collating the photos, videos and answers in a short presentation to the group, to allow them to see what other teams got up to. Of course, there were plenty of hilarity at the videos and attempted posed photos! The funniest was the Chariots of Fire remake which received massive laughter and huge cheers as one by one the teams were picked out for being best video of the day!

A wonderful afternoon of Indoor Team Building had been thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance, as our guests departed with big smiles and lots of high-5s. A big shout out and thank you must go to Louise for all her hard work in organising such a brilliant event. We very much hope that the entire Sky team had a fantastic afternoon with us, and very much hope to see you all again soon for the rematch.
