The spacious grounds of the fantastic Ilam Park were the setting for Chameleon's day of Team Development in the form of an exciting team building day in the form of our Trade to Win event! The group finally arrived after a bit of traffic on the way but they were all the more excited to get started! After a bit of familiarisation and the invention of some wacky team names it was time to get started with some presentations about their rocket companies! The Mad Hatters came up and gave a worthy performance, as did the Chablis team but nobody could beat Nigel, his coconuts and the rest of the M&M's with their performance! After a bit of lunch in the sunshine it was time to win some serious cash in order to buy and build a rocket throughout the day. They were given a lot of opportunities in the form of Rollerball, Stepping Stones and Casket Rescue. There were a few front runners who led their teams to some level of victory although on the rollerball there wasn't too much action in the time available... However the Mad Hatters Team managed to get some sort of a structure up, possibly due to their exemplary Health and Safety and teamwork.

Over on casket the teams all had different strategies but they all worked especially the M&M's. Chablis came out on top with their idea but unfortunately their Health and Safety awareness let them down. However they all worker well meaning our teams gained yet more money. Finally on stepping stones, our third rotation, the teams "stepped" up and tried to find a way across the course. Although at first they were cautious but once they had worked out a bit of a system they were picking up the points to give them some cash at the rocket shop! With one chance left to win some money, the guys went into Interlocker determined to beat the game no matter how difficult. The clear winners of the challenge were once more the M&M's and in second place were team Chablis with the Mad Hatters slotting into third.
It was finally time for the event that everyone had been waiting for, the rocket launch! It was close but one teams rocket flew so high the camera couldn't follow it haha and the highest rocket of the day goes to Team Chablis! The M&M's also managed to get a high flying rocket but for the Mad Hatters although it looked like it was going to be amazing, it broke up in the sky and they had to send out a search party for the pieces! When it was time for the big reveal and the giving of the Team Challenge Company trophy the excitement was building. Although it was close, the takers of the wooden spoon and a score of 4600 were the Mad Hatters, but at least it's something to take away! In a close second was M&M's with a great score of 4900 and then in the top spot with a massive 5200 and taking home the glory was Chablis! A big thanks goes out to Mark and also to Adam for putting in all of the effort to organise the fantacstic Team Building day and not holding back throughout!
