How it works
After a short group briefing on Zoom, with optional mulled wine and mince pies, teams of 3-5 head into breakaway groups. Teams then brainstorm a storyline for their festive film before producing a storyboard of 6-10 scenes and choosing their Christmas soundtrack. Teams then capture the scenes on their phones or tablets and upload them to our editors. Our elf-like editors then work in real-time under the guidance of the team to assemble their films.
With this experience, team members can see that physical separation is no barrier to meaningful collaboration and high-quality output. Each team must employ forethought, planning, and expert execution to make their storyboard relevant to the theme. Participants step out of their comfort zone, acting, scriptwriting, and filming while juggling multiple roles.
Each team leaves with a festive film at the end of their experience and an incredible sense of achievement at creating something so successful from an initially daunting challenge.
