Penmere Manor Hotel sits on four acres of woodland approximately one mile from the historic port of Falmouth.
Falmouth was named as one of the top four places to live in Britain by The Sunday Times, and comes with the idyllic coastal views and countryside lifestyle that Cornwall has become famous for. Falmouth is a hugely popular sailing and leisure destination, rich in history and stunning scenery – a perfect location for those visiting the county.
During the Second World War the then owners, members of the well-known Cornish Bolitho family, vacated the house and it became a home for injured officers, followed by a periodical spell as a teaching convent for girls. Penmere House was transformed into a hotel in the late 1950s and has always been very much a family owned and run hotel.
