How it works

Our Situation Room experience is driven along by video briefs delivered at set time points throughout the session to replicate real-time status updates on a breaking situation to which your teams must react. In addition, a countdown timer keeps the pressure on the teams with an indication of the time remaining until the next update as they simultaneously attempt to open a locked briefcase containing compartments (ALPHA / BRAVO / CHARLIE / DELTA) to complete the task.

Each locked compartment provides additional challenges and resources for teams to assess and solve before submitting vital information to a remote “Special Ops” force. A secure device (a tablet with our app) links to Special Ops for teams to share their findings.

Teams must think strategically and apply agile ways of working to link the right people and information at the right time. Participants will also develop their understanding and appreciation of the integral role that cross-functional communication plays in situational leadership and high performance under pressure. Situation Room is an exhilarating ride and is a fantastic way of energising your teams.

Collaboration

Improving collaboration across a team is probably the number one way we can help to improve a team’s performance. If you don’t communicate, you can’t collaborate. We start with communication and get it flowing, then get everyone working together. We have found that creating long-term change in the way teams collaborate can be as simple as getting them into a creative frame of mind. Whether the team task is to work together or compete is up to you.

Leadership

Our experiences to identify and bring out leadership qualities revolve around either creative and collaborative practices or competitive challenges. These tried and tested techniques delve deep into team dynamics and how individuals respond to them. We have also developed a core set of highly effective interactive business games. Our interactive games mimic real-world scenarios but with a bit of fun thrown in for good measure.
