Team Building Days with Dana Petroleum

The team at Dana Petroleum were delighted to discover that they were spending their day outside in the crisp spring weather with Team Challenge Company at the beautiful Drumtochty Castle in Scotland, taking part in one of our Team Building Days. After an inspiring welcome and presentation they were excited to get into all the action and all came prepared with their woolly hats, winter jackets and of course the trusty pair of wellies - we just added the Jimmy Wigs for good measure! Kicking off with everyone being split into their teams and were coming up with some pretty creative team names. All of our teams were given the opportunity to work together and challenge themselves in a variety of fun and exciting activities such as Travel Ball, Casket, Catapult, Archery, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Balloon Tower – just look at the photos!

To keep the day flowing along there were plenty of great hospitality and fine dining hosted at the wonderful Drumtochty Castle – all of the necessities for a truly great event! To round off a fantastic day, there was our Mini Highland Games giving the opportunity to try haggis roll, fly casting with trout much smarter than us and everyone's favourite, the caber toss! Only then were they finally headed inside to retreat for some well needed warmth a quick coffee to perk them up an onto the last activity, Bridge Build. There was plenty of well planned ideas which led to some valuable points being gained with 100% success – unheard of! In the end the points came in useful for our winning team who played a blinder throughout and stepped up to take the prestigious Team Challenge Company 2014 trophy! Well done Golden Deers!

A big shout to Ewan the General Manager at Drumtochty Castle nothing was too much trouble for him and his great team and your early morning bacon rolls were simply divine!

A fantastic and competitive afternoon of indoor and outdoor team building! Great to see the wet weather did not dampen our spirits! A one hundred percent success on Bridge Build as well. A Team Challenge Company first.

Even with the weather against us we made a fantastic day out of it! A really enthusiastic group who were a pleasure to work with!. Bridge Build Finale was a great end to the day. It's not often that every team will build the perfect (and very, very different) bridges!
