Teams must work as a unit to quickly and efficiently construct the best bridge that they can, despite having precious few materials, suffering from communication barriers and being given a limited amount of time to work with. How It Works
Bridging the Divide is a powerful team building activity that requires participants to test multiple skills simultaneously as they strive to build the best bridge possible. Through communication barriers, a limited pool of resources and very specific customer requirements, participants must balance what they have available with what they need to do in order to find an efficient solution.
After each team has constructed their bridge, awards are handed out for the most creative or unique engineering design, the best branding and the most efficient use of resources. Then, upon completion, each team’s bridge is united and connected to create a single company bridge. This concludes with a grand finale where the company bridge is put to the test using a remote-controlled car.
