After a busy summer it was time for Kippie Lodge to host their Summer BBQ corporate fun day. After a morning of tennis and golf tournaments it was time for the next competitions to begin! Luckily for everyone at Kippie, the sun was shining and would hopefully last throughout the afternoon! Before the real fun began with the sports day races there was a chance for free play on the fantastic inflatable’s including the Bungee Run, the impressive Gladiator Duel and of course everyone’s favourite, the Human Demolition! What could be more fun than a giant ball flying towards you? After a delicious barbeque lunch the kids got into four teams and it was time for the sports day fun to start. We began with a nice easy warm up which got the blood flowing and ready for the races, the first of which was a Sack Race! This gave our teams the chance to get to know each other and hopefully to get some points in early on! Of course for those who weren’t in to races, we still had to inflatable’s going for the entire day so there was something for everyone!

The next race on the agenda was the sports day favourite, Egg and Spoon. Of course as always we had to check nobody had stuck their egg on with chewing gum... It’s only fair! As the race got going we managed to get a few naturals sprinting up and down the course with ease meaning that their team took away the victory for that race and took away some valuable points! Other races across the day included the Three Legged Race, the Space Hopper Race and the Obstacle Ski Race, meaning there were plenty of chances to win those points! At the end of the sports day races, everyone had already done a fantastic job, so all our competitors took away some sweetie prizes!

The end of the races didn’t mean the end of the fun. There was still one more competition to come, the Human Demolition competition! All of the kids had their chance on the blocks to see who could last the longest and several had done quite well, however only one person was good enough to last out all his other opponents and this was Logan! As usual it was a fantastic day at Kippie Lodge, and thankfully the sun stayed out for the majority of it! A big thanks goes to Caroline for putting in the effort and making the day happen!
