With the sun shining in the beautiful town of Banchory, Team Challenge Company arrived at the gorgeous Tor Na Coille Hotel for some entertain their guests as part of their spring client networking evening, in the form of some Team Building Aberdeen - Evening Entertainment. Some 30 guests arrived to have a tour around the lovely rooms, restaurant and meeting spaces at the Tor Na Coille Hotel, little did they know Team Challenge Company were about to surprise them with an evening of exciting, memorable and fun entertainment. To keep the secret as the guests first embarked on The Conference Room at the Tor Na Coille which is very light, airy and elegant with stunning views overlooking the garden, it was set for a conference with U-shaped seating arrangement and large projector screen. Once the guests had enjoyed there tour and a delicious selection of the Chefs favourite dishes in the Royal Deeside Restaurant they were then brought back into the newly transformed Conference room. North East Events added there elegant touch in the form of centre pieces, chair covers, table cloths which certainly got a lot of praise on the evening.

With everyone in their seats it was time to start the show, with a drum roll and somewhat familiar quiz show tune out burst the legend himself Mr Bruce Forsyth…. Well our Team Challenge Company version. Linda certainly got a surprise as Brucey took quite a shining to her!! First things first the guests were set with the task of coming up with their Team names, we had the Small Village People, Tor Na Girlies, Domestos and Lynne’s Luscious Ladies. With the Team Challenge Company Trophy up for grabs there was a competitive atmosphere as we kicked of the Generation Game with our Hit or Miss round, Tor Na Girlies had a good start and things looked promising. Then Lynne’s Luscious Ladies pulled it back and scored a massive 900 points taking it right down to the wire but it wasn’t meant to be for the Ladies as taking full points in the first round were the Small Village People.

On two the second round and with the excitement building in the room it was time for the Price Is Right, from a Cream Egg Easter Egg to a garden Shed and some lovely Louboutin shoes our guests had the task of guessing nearest to the price. Ewan’s team seemed to be spot on with their guesses taking an early lead but then Phillip pulled it out the bag putting the Small Village people back in the running, one team which don’t get out much were Lynne’s Luscious ladies not managing to get on the score board at all in this round, Better luck next time Ladies!! Moving into the final round it was very close between Domestos and the Tor Na Girlies only 100 points between them but who could master the Generation Mix. As all the nominees lined up to take their turn there was excitement in the air for this fantastic finale. The contestants had to memorise the items on the conveyer belt and name as many as they could, slow and steady each contestant gave there answer with trepidation, a beach holiday, 500 pounds in cash ,the old classic a cuddly toy. Everyone was a great sport and even Lynnes Lucious Ladies managed to redeem themselves but the overall winners and taking home the Team Challenge Company Trophy were the Small Village People with a whopping 1400 points. A big Thank you to Lynne and Philip and all the staff at the Tor Na Coille and to all of the guests for attending and being such great sports.

What a brilliant evening we had at Tor Na Coille. Thanks to Lynne and Phillip for making the whole thing a success. Really hope to be seeing you soon.

I just want to say, thank you so much for the fantastic entertainment you provided for the Tor na Coilles’ PA evening on the 10th of April. It was just perfect, exactly what I was looking for and every one had an absolute blast! Thank you to Stephen, Kirsty and Simon!

Just wanted to say thank you very much for an amazing time last night. It was great to see such a lovely venue and get to sample the yummy food. I think we all also appreciated the “extra surprises”! The excited buzz lasted all the way back into Aberdeen on the bus with several people saying what a great night and how pleased they were they came. Obviously I totally enjoyed being part of the winning team – just a shame my phone battery ran out and I didn’t get a photo of the trophy before the AAB girls whisked it off! The Generation Game was a great way to network with other members of the Aberdeen PA, think I made more “new friends” last night than at any other PA night so thank you for that! Hope to see you all again soon.

What a laugh, such a great night thanks again Lynne and Phillip we loved our trip to the Tor Na Coille! and well done to Small Village People on winning the Team Challenge Company Trophy!!
