Arriving at the lovely Maryculter House Hotel, the anxious but determined teams from Stork got checked in before joining us for a morning and afternoon of fun and exciting Indoor Team Building challenges, which included a surprise brief stint outside throwing eggs out of a window! To kick off the morning following our introductions and safety briefing was the team naming ceremony which revealed our four teams to be Heeds Burstin’ FUBAR, The Bitches and The Dundee Mafia

First up was the classic Team Building challenge Travel Ball which saw FUBAR storm into an early lead with a fantastic performance on this undeniably tough challenge. The momentum didn't last too long however as the lead changed again and again in the never say never Interlocker, Blind Intent – teams pipped to the win by an Addidas shoe; and Crane Build Challenge including the building of some of the safest, sturdiest and most successful cranes we have ever seen… and some not so…. sturdy! After a quick break for much needed refreshment and lunch in Poachers Pocket it was time for the most intellectually demanding of the tasks as the teams faced Lost at Sea Challenge. When the results were in all three teams had done very well and it was The Bitches who continued their winning streak. Egg Drop was up next and proved to be the toughest one for some–anyone for scrambled?! Bridge Build rounded up the construction tasks for the day and the great success of all teams in the Bridge Build finale took us to Grand Finale of Bucking Bronco – with arms and legs flying everywhere it really was a sight to behold!

The results were in and checked and verified and we waited with baited breath to see who was going home with what. Bringing up the rear with a respectable score of 5800 points the Wooden Spoon went to FUBAR. In third place missing out by 200 points was Heeds Burstin’ with 6000 while second place went to The Dundee Mafia on a great 6200 points but our champions were The Bitches with an incredible 7000 points so the deserving recipients of the Team Challenge Winner's Trophy. Well done to all the teams who took part; and to Catherine and Dougie for working so hard to organise the event, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you and your teams.
