Team Challenge Company had the very great pleasure of Event Managing a fantastic weekend entertainment, which saw us welcoming 120 Norwegian guests from Ernst & Young Bergen to beautiful Royal Deeside in Scotland. This historic and picturesque corner of the country played host to a truly memorable weekend of Corporate Entertainment, as Team Challenge Company delivered an exciting and unique 'Taste of Scotland' experience for our Scandinavian friends that is sure not to be forgotten. Friday began with early flight arrivals and journeys to both Mercure Ardoe House Hotel and Norwood Hall Hotel, our two bases for the weekend. A fabulous welcome meeting and presentation of what lay ahead for our guests really set the tone for the weekend, and a fun-filled Scottish Dining (and drinking) experience at Mercure Ardoe House Hotel on Friday evening got the weekend kicked-off in style. And then came Saturday, the big one! Our 120 guests were set to travel throughout the fabulous scenery of Royal Deeside, which was bathed in glorious sunshine all weekend, to take part in a variety of special Corporate Entertainment activities. There was everything from White Water Rafting to Fly Fishing, from Clay Pigeon Shooting to the Speyside Whisky Trail, and from Mountain Biking to the fantastic Wilderness Adventure, all of which were truly enjoyed by all of our guests. There were a number of highlights throughout the day of Corporate Entertainment, from Espen and Silje linking arms as they undertook their River Crossing during the Wilderness Adventure, to Frank, Bjorn, Lars Tore and Anne Line sneaking back for another 'nip' at Cardhu Distillery. However, there is no doubt that highlight of the day came at the mountain biking, as our 30 guests were treated to a brief audience with His Royal Highness Prince Charles, otherwise known as The Duke of Rothsay here in Scotland. Upon his journey to Balmoral, His Royal Highness pulled up alongside our stunned (and very excited) guests, rolled down his window and had a quick chat about all things Royal Deeside. Truly an event never to be forgotten. Saturday evening brought with it yet more Scottish wonders, as our Norwegian friends enjoyed the short journey to the magnificent Crathes Castle for a unique Dining and Evening Entertainment experience that would bring to a close a wonderful stay in Scotland. From guided tours of the Castle to an absolutely sensational meal designed and delivered by Prestige Scotland, the night was special in every way. There was only one way to bring this evening to it's fun-filled climax...the traditional Scottish Ceilidh. The music was fast and the dancing was fierce (and at times a little chaotic!), ensuring a perfect conclusion to a wonderful night. Flights departed from our Scottish Shores back to Norway on Sunday, but not before our guests had a chance to indulge in a spot of golf at Newmachar, a historic tour of ruined Dunnottar Castle, and perhaps most importantly, some shopping in Aberdeen City Centre. In the end, our Norwegian guests had enjoyed a simply unforgettable time in Royal Deeside, full of fun, enjoyment and entertainment that was second to none. The entire team from Ernst & Young Bergen were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we truly hope you all went home with magnificent memories of your time with us here in Scotland.
